
Dawn L. (Hoarty) Foley, a resident of Malden, passed away at the Lahey-Clinic Hospital in Burlington on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. She was 64 years old.
Born in Malden, Massachusetts, on February 18, 1961, she was the beloved daughter of the late Charles L. and Carole L. (Spencer) Hoarty. Dawn’s latest profession was a waitress, at Donut Villa, where she worked for many years. She enjoyed meeting new customers who eventually become friends.
In her spare time, she enjoyed going to the beach and visiting Foxwoods and Encore. Dawn always had a huge smile and a contagious laugh. Above all, Dawn loved being with and sharing her life with her entire family, especially her two sons and four grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.
Dawn is survived by her loving sons and daughters-in-law; David and his wife Amy Foley of Wilmington and Shawn and his wife Stacee Foley of Dracut, brother; Mark and his wife Maureen of Pelham, New Hampshire, sister-in-law; Mary Hoarty of Medford, brother-in-law; Richard Devlin of Candia, New Hampshire, grandchildren; Cora, Braeden, David and Rylan and many nieces and nephews. Dawn is also survived by her longtime companion; Joseph Demettia of Malden. She was also the sister of the late William "Shayne" Hoarty and Laura Devlin.
Visiting hours will be held in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 3 to 7 PM.
