It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Linda LeBelle, 78 of Westport, after a brief illness, she passed away peacefully at St. Lukes Hospital with her family by her side.Her kindness, warmth and generosity touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. Always putting others before herself, we will remember her boundless heart, her gentle presence and the deep love she carried for her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity and strength, a legacy that will be carried forward with pride and gratitude.
Linda was the beloved wife of the Late James LeBelle, they shared 29 years of marriage, she was the daughter of Walter and Gertrude Platt, and sister of the late Marilyn Carr.
She is survived by her daughter Paula Brown (Peter), Step-Son James LeBelle of Twin Falls, Idaho, Step-Daughters; Charlene LeBelle of Germantown, MD, and Charlotte Morris-LeBelle (Melissa) of Fall River, and Daughter In Law, Holly LeBelle. Linda was predeceased by her daughter Cheryl Gauvin, and leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
Linda was the proud grandmother of 11, Casey (Joe), Haleigh (Nate), Makensie (Ryan), Olivia, Rebecca (Justin), Meaghan, Isaiah (Jennifer), Vanessa, Téa (Toby), Willem and Savannah and great grandmother of 6, Rowan, Nora, Marshall, Claire, Zoe and Xavier. She was the former wife of Paul Pereira.
She held a special place in her heart for her neighbor’s children, Ella and Ethan, loving them as if they were her own grandchildren.
Linda loved to travel the Acores and Mallorca, being out on the Westport River, hanging out on the deck with her beloved dog III and, most of all, spending time with her family, especially her great grandchildren.
Family and Friends are invited to attend the Graveside Service to be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 10:00am at Beech Grove Cemetery, 974 Main Road, Westport, MA.
