
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of John "Jack" D. Lee 85, a beloved father grandfather, brother and friend. He passed on November 8, 2025. Jack is preceded in death by his parents Wilfred and Mary (Carpenter) Lee, and his siblings Norman, Robert, Daniel, Bernice and Patricia.
Jack was born and raised in Attleboro. He was apart of the Attleboro High School Class of 1958. After graduating he served 3 honorable years in the Air Force until 1962. Jack shared 58 years of marriage with his late wife, Ann Marie Lee (Buchanio). Together they built a life marked by love, hard work and devotion to family. They raised 3 children in Attleboro while Jack worked at Texas Instruments. In 1974 he and his wife began a new adventure, moving to Bristol, RI. Here they owned and operated the Donut Barn until 1989. Their journey then brought them to settle in Sandwich, MA. Jack was a man of simple joys. He enjoyed gardening, bird watching, soduko puzzles, cheering on the Red Sox and games of cribbage- a game he went on to teach at the Sandwich Senior Center. Most of all he treasured spending time with family and friends.
Jack is survived by two sons, Anthony Lee of Attleboro and John Lee of Bristol and his daughter Sheila Perry and her husband John of Coventry, RI. He is also survived by siblings Louise Heon of Texas, Elizabeth (Betty) Lee of FL, David Lee of FL and Barbara Molitor of MA, as well as many grandchildren,great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He will forever be remembered and loved by those whose lives he touched.
A celebration of Jack's life will be held at a future date.
