
Karen L. ‘KK’ (Kearns) Adair, 69 of Tewksbury, MA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill. She was the wife of William B. Adair with whom she shared over 48 years of marriage.
She was born on August 11, 1956 in Lowell and was a daughter of the late John F. Kearns and the late Rose M. (Gibbons) Kearns.
She was a devoted wife and mother, always taking care of her family before anything else. She was a fighter, never letting anything get in her path.
In addition to her husband, William, she is survived by her children, Kristina Markt and her husband, Don of North Grafton, MA, Karen Marie Montijo of Methuen, MA, Paul Adair of Tewksbury, and Derek Adair of New Bedford, MA, her grandchildren, Marissa, Dakota, Zachary, Mikayla, Jayden, Mason, Madeline, Roman, Whitney, and Aubrey and several nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by four sisters and two brothers. Cheryl Fournier, Daniel Kearns, Steven Kearns, Brenda Sutherland, Pamela Cory, and Lyn Bill.
She was the mother of the late Wayne Adair.
The family would like to thank High Pointe Hospice House for their care and compassion during her stay.
On Wednesday, November 19, 2025 all are welcome to attend her calling hours from 2-4 p.m. at Tewksbury Funeral Home, 1 Dewey Street, Tewksbury 978-851-2061. Her funeral service will take place in the funeral home at 4 p.m.
