She also participated in many plays in Phoenix Players at the First Baptist Church in Worcester and, according to friends she was quite talented.
In 1951, one of her woodcut prints was shown at the Museum of Modern Art in NYC and it was included in a tour to Norway.
The family would like to give special thanks to the many people at Oakdale Rehab and Homestead Hall in Worcester, friends Gwen and Chris Callahan, as well as her attorney Christopher Mehne for their care and support.
To quote Carolyn, “Although I never had a chance to marry or have children to inherit some of my talents, I’ve had the privilege to teach thousands of children.”
