Brenda Sarah Neary, 85, November 12, 2025 passed away at her home in Hampton, New Hampshire surrounded by family. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Brenda was born on December 12, 1939 to Josephine and Charles Lowthers of Medford, MA. She was a long time resident of Billerica and Georgetown, MA. Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, William Neary and her parents as well as her siblings: Charles Lowthers, Marjorie Bailey, Paul Lowthers, Walter Lowthers, Bruce Lowthers, Joyce Bergen, Dennis Lowthers as well as her son, Stephen Neary. She is survived by her children Michael Neary, William Neary, Lisa Chasan and her husband Brad, David Neary and his wife, Mal, and Kevin Neary and his wife Isabel. She was the loving grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Brenda worked at Merri Lane gifts for many years. She enjoyed painting and collecting Hummels. Brenda was also skilled at cake decorating and enjoyed baking cookies for others each Christmas. Brenda loved socializing with her family and friends. She was formerly a member of the Red Hat Society. She was caring and thoughtful and was always seeking ways to help others. She is remembered for her fun summer barbecues with family over the years and her great sense of humor. Brenda was devout Catholic. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass, celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden on Tuesday November 18th at 10 AM followed by interment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
