Obituary



Auburn – Robert W. White, 54, of Auburn passed away unexpectedly in Saint Vincent Hospital on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Gabrielle C.B. White of Auburn; his mother, Betty Jane (Dyson) White and her husband, Raymond of South Yarmouth; his two brothers, Brian M. White and his wife, Susan of Spencer and John R. White and his wife, Jessica of Northbridge; a grandson, August W. Moskovitz of Auburn; his stepmother, Lee White of Dudley his nieces and nephews, Felicia Whitney, Brianna Specht, Jack White and James White and his close friend, Lynn Sunden.

Robert was born in Worcester, MA and is predeceased by his father, Robert M. White.

He graduated from South High Community High School and then attended the former Worcester Technical Institute.

He was currently working for Electric HVAC Professionals as a plumber and HVAC technician and previously worked for over 25 years with Muirfield Mechanical.

You could always find Robert dancing in the crowd at Phish shows, his all time favorite band. Robert also enjoyed fishing at the Cape. In the summer, you could find him tending to his garden. He never hesitated to lend out a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Robert was a great friend to so many and his quick wit and humor always lit up the room. Robert was known to embrace the laid-back side of life. Above all, he was a proud grandfather to August.

In honor of Robert, take a second to put on his favorite Phish song “Blaze On” and step outside for a little fresh air.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 18 from 5 to 7PM in the Alfred Roy & Sons – Henry Funeral Service Memorial Chapel, 33 Ward Street Worcester. A prayer service will be held at 7PM at the conclusion of calling hours. Burial will take place on Saturday, November 22 at 11AM in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn with a Celebration of Life to follow at 12PM in the Knights of Columbus Alhambra Council #88 44 Circuit Ave North, Worcester.
