Stephen E. Lovejoy, 77, of Waltham died Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington.
Born in Cambridge on April 8, 1948, he was the son of the late Herbert and Farilyn (Colburn) Lovejoy, Jr.
Stephen was a resident of Waltham for most of his life and proudly served in the US Army in Germany during the Vietnam War.
Stephen worked for many years at Grover Cronin’s Department Store in Waltham until their closing, and was an avid New England sports fan.
He is survived by his sister, Kathy Kelley of Bellingham, his nephew Shawn Kelley and his wife Ashley of Bellingham, his niece Tracy Dudley Kelley and her husband Joshua of Ashland, and his great-nephew and great- niece Nolan and Ireland Kelley.
He is also survived by his caregiver and family friend Carolyn Medeiros.
He was predeceased by his brother-in-law William Kelley.
Private services will take place at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
