Obituary

Kathleen (Wayman) Ceccarelli ~ October 29, 1950 – November 8, 2025

Kate (as she preferred to be called) Ceccarelli, 75, of South Yarmouth and Webster, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, David Ceccarelli of South Yarmouth; her daughter, Jennifer Smith and grandchildren, Kendall and Brady of Brewster; her brother, Jeffrey Wayman of East Templeton; her sister Monica Coakley of Charlton; and several nieces, nephews and cousins whom she loved as her own.

She was predeceased by her parents, Ann Constantine and Kenneth Wayman; her brother, Van Constantine and her sister, Pamela Pingeton.

Kate was a graduate of Bartlett High School and a long-time resident of Webster, MA until she and her husband moved to Cape Cod to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren. Kate loved to walk the beach and collect unique rocks. She often asked friends and family who traveled to pick her up a rock or two from their destination. Kate loved to stroll through department stores and check out the latest fashions, often picking out a few new things to add to her stylish wardrobe. Kate had an eye for decorating, and you could always count on a warm and inviting visit to her home. Kate will be remembered for her kind heart and compassionate nature. She loved her family fiercely and loved her friends as family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
