William Wheaton Peters III (54), a lifelong resident of Falmouth, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Wheaton was known for his gentle heart and his ability to make everyone around him smile. He was endlessly kind — the sort of person who made others feel at ease just by being there. He loved his friends deeply and shared his home and his heart with his beloved cat, Boo Boo.
A lifelong learner attended Northeastern University. Wheaton found joy in reading, fishing, and teaching himself to play the guitar. His true happiness was found in the comfort of Cape Cod — surrounded by his large and loving network of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Wheaton is survived by his loving parents, William and Pamela; his brother and sister-in-law, Drew and Jennifer Peters; and his treasured nieces, Ava and Lily, who adored their uncle and will forever remember his humor and warmth.
He faced health challenges in recent years but never lost his kindness, compassion, or care for others.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Falmouth’s Flying Bridge Restaurant on November 21st from 2 to 5PM.
