Obituary

Joan M. (Page) Marresse, 95, of Saco, Maine, died peacefully on Sunday, November 9, 2025. She was the wife of the late Andrew Marresse.

Born in Roslindale, Massachusetts on October 15, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Anne (Burrows) Page.

Joan was a resident of Saco, Maine for 25 years and formerly resided in Medway, Massachusetts. She grew up in Dayton, Ohio and Annapolis, Maryland and graduated from Annapolis High School.

Joan was a talented seamstress and the owner of Joan’s Bridal Shop in Medway. Her creativity extended beyond sewing; she was also an accomplished painter and crafted exquisite porcelain dolls. For many years, she operated Joan’s Doll Studio, where she shared her talents by teaching others the art of dollmaking. Joan was a dedicated member of the St. Joseph’s Catholic Youth Organization and played an important role in designing the uniforms for the band.

She is survived by her five sons, Denver Kramer and his late wife Dena of Denton, Texas, John Kenneth Kramer and his wife Tricia of Sanford, Maine, Theodore Kramer and his wife Luann of Venice, Florida, Steve Lemmler and his wife Alison of Medway, Massachusetts and Craig Lemmler and his wife Mary of Medway, Massachusetts. She is also survived by her step daughter Judith Murray of Peabody, Massachusetts.

She was the mother of the late William "Billy" Lemmler.

She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, Elizabeth Anderson, Eric Kramer, Anthony Kramer, Joey Richardson, Andrea Berardi, Victoria Reynolds, Samantha Lemmler, Shayna Lemmler, Rachael Lemmler, Sarah Lemmler, Laurel Lahnston, and the late Frank "Fritzy" Lahnston, and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Joan is also survived by her brother Theodore Page and wife Mary of Sewell, New Jersey, several nieces and nephews, and was the sister of the late Priscilla Taylor and Constance Leary.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation on Tuesday November 18 from 10 – 10:40 a.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway ginleyfuneralhomes.com followed by a funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 151 Village St. in Medway at 11 a.m.

Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway.
