Roberta F. Lynch, of Malden, died suddenly on November 8th. Beloved wife of Edward Lynch. Mother of Eric Lynch and his wife Amanda of Apex, NC and Natalie Lynch and her wife Rachel Richter of Malden. Affectionately known as Roro to her grandchildren - Anna, Abigail and Devin. Sister of Patricia Desmond of Malden, David Desmond of Malden, William Desmond and his partner Kathy Balwanz of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by her grand dog Nemo, several nieces and nephews and many friends. Roberta was happiest tending to the flowers around her house, reading, dancing at weddings, and spending time surrounded by her friends and family. A lifelong resident of Malden, she is a graduate of Immaculate Conception Parish Grammar School, Girls Catholic High School and Boston University. For many years she was a Schoolteacher in Medford at both the Roberts Middle School and the Andrews Middle School. She also taught at the Rockland Nursery School in Malden. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Friday November 14th at 9 AM followed by her Funeral Mass celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 10 AM. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday November 13th from 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Malden Public Library, 36 Salem St., Malden, MA 02148.
