Obituary

Sharlyce Elizabeth Ingram-Raspberry, 73, of Randall Street, Providence, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2025, at Heritage Hills Nursing Home in Smithfield. She was the beloved wife of the late Jesse Raspberry.

Born in Providence, Rhode Island, on October 19, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Bradley Ingram and Catherine (McCoy) Ingram. Sharlyce was a lifelong resident of Providence, where she built her family, her friendships, and her legacy of love and faith.

A deeply spiritual woman, Sharlyce’s strength came from her unwavering belief in God. She lived her life guided by prayer, compassion, and gratitude, always finding peace through her faith. Her gentle words, kind heart, and encouraging spirit touched everyone she met, and her love for the Lord shone through in every act of care and kindness.

She had been employed as a Home Health Care Aide with Home Health Care of Rhode Island, where she devoted herself to helping others with empathy, patience, and grace. Her compassion and dedication were an extension of her faith and love for people.

Sharlyce will be remembered for her joyful laugh, her nurturing heart, and her devotion to her family. She loved cooking, gathering her loved ones together, and celebrating life’s blessings with warmth and laughter.

She leaves behind her loving children:
LaShaun Ingram of Providence,
Pharoah Ingram of Providence,
Royce Ingram and his wife Karissa of Pawtucket, and
Omar Ingram and his fiancée Kristin of North Providence.

She was the proud grandmother of nine cherished grandchildren.

Sharlyce will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her faith, her love, and the light she brought to all who knew her.
