BUXTON- Thomas J. Wildes Sr., age 81, passed away on Nov. 7, 2025.
He was born in Portland on April 18, 1944, a son of the late Clarence Sr. and Dorothy (Harris) Wildes.
He attended Portland Schools and later in life received his diploma from Bonny Eagle High School.
He enjoyed hunting, horse racing, word search puzzles, and being at his home.
Over the years, Thomas was employed at Songo Shoe and retired from Sebago Moc.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife- Patricia (McIntosh) Wildes; a daughter- Rosie Staples, and all of his siblings- Clarence Jr., David Sr., Robert, Louise, Dottie, and Carol.
He is survived by his son- Thomas Wildes Jr. and his wife Diane of Saco, and Susan Wildes of Portland; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday Nov. 14th from 12 noon – 1 PM, follow by a 1 pm service at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 498 Long Plains Road (Rt. 22) in Buxton. Burial will follow at Brooklawn Memorial Park in Portland.
