Glenn Lee Tucker, 74, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, November 6, 2025, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 11AM, Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Irwin County, Georgia. The interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening, from 6PM until 8PM, at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Mr. Tucker was born January 28, 1951, in Ocilla Georgia, to the late William and Leona Daniels Tucker. He was raised on the farm in Lax, Georgia, by his mother and grandfather, the late Thomas Daniels. Mr. Tucker was a 1969 graduate of Irwin County Highschool. He played football, and in 1968, he was a member of the runner up state championship team. Mr. Tucker loved to fish, watch football, cook, and being on his tractor and gardening. Most of all he enjoyed his grandkids. He retired from GTE in 2000, and later self-contracted with Alltel, now known as Windstream.
He is survived by his 2 children: Tate Tucker and Taylor Tucker; grandchildren: Gracie Thomas and Rhett Thomas; siblings: Glenda Flanders and Tommy Tucker. Other relatives also survive.
