
Naomi “Kay” (Thomas) Lariviere, 74, passed away on October 5, 2025. Kay had been declining in health for several years. Kay was born on October 30, 1950 in Weaubleau, MO, to Flora Jean (Cauthon) Thomas and James Frank Thomas. For many years Kay resided in Nottingham, New Hampshire.
Kay graduated from Ulysses High School in Ulysses, Kansas in 1968. Prior to high school graduation she attended Kansas public schools in Attica, Red Rock Elementary (Grant County) and Hugoton. Shortly after high school graduation Kay attended Wichita Business College in Wichita, Kansas.
In the early 1970s, Kay relocated to northeast finally settling in Nottingham, New Hampshire where she raised her two sons. Kay worked for many years at the Exeter Family Medicine and Exeter Hospital as a Patient Accounts Billing Specialist. She was known for her cheerful attitude and willingness to share her expertise with anyone who asked.
She attended Raymond Baptist Church until her health prevented her from going.
Kay was proceeded in death by her parents, son Jeffery Schrempf, and daughter Angela Billings.
Kay is survived by her son David Lariviere, grandsons Arlo and Zeno, and four siblings, Frankie, (Charlotte) Thomas, Hugoton, KS., Beverly (Robert) Nuckolls, Hermitage, MO., Jim (Marla) Thomas, Shawnee, KS., and Tava (Wayne) Davis, Forsyth, MO., seven nieces and three nephews, and friend of many years Sandy Courtemanche, Raymond, NH.
The family will have a private inurnment at a later date.
