Bender, Alan R. age 81, of Wellesley, formerly of Brighton, passed away on November 2, 2025 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Predeceased by his parents the late Albert and Catherine (Angus) Bender of Brighton. Loving husband of the late Richard G. Deloge. Alan is survived by his brother Richard Bender of Stoughton, nephew Kenneth Bender of Virginia, nieces Deborah Barrett of Stoughton, Ann O’Neil of Framingham, Jean Patino of Marlboro, Kelly Hardy of Virginia and Jennifer Colena of New Hampshire. Also survived by many cousins, grandnephews, grandnieces and friends, including longtime friend Jack Messina of Florida. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Bender of Waltham, and sister-in-law Patricia Bender of Stoughton.
Alan graduated from Bentley College and spent most of his career in financial services for Charles T. Main, Inc. / Parsons Corporation in Massachusetts. He made many life-long friends there and enjoyed attending the reunions over the years.
Alan was a veteran of the United States Army and was stationed at Fort Devens.
