LUCAS, Mary Theresa of Brookline, formerly of West Roxbury, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on November 5, 2025 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of 68 years of Robert F. Lucas. Devoted mother of Robert J. Lucas of Nelson, NH and Tara M. Lucas of West Roxbury, MA. Dear sister of Jean MacNabb and her late husband Richard and the late Thomas Savage and his surviving wife Janet. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late John Burke (deceased 1933) and Mary Savage. Raised by Mary and her husband Frank Savage.
Mary earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Framingham State Teachers College in 1955. She taught elementary education until assuming her most cherished role of mother.
Visiting hours at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St. West Roxbury on Wednesday, November 12th from 9-11am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa of Avila Church at 11:30am.
