Joan Groff, age 92, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Joan was a devoted mother to Larry (Dorothy) and Lauren Rhein, a proud and loving grandmother to four, and a doting great-grandmother to five.
She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared with all who knew her. Joan now rejoins her beloved family members—her parents, Bondell Freeman and Millie Reckow, her husband Joseph Groff Jr., and her brother Charles Freeman—who welcome her home.
Interment: Friday, November 7, 2025, at 11:30 a.m.
