
Angel Luis Rodriguez, 76 of Lowell, passed away after a long illness on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at Lowell General Hospital.
He was born on April 8, 1949 and was a son of the late Luis Rodriguez and the late Luisa Mendez. He was raised in Puerto Rico, where he attended the area schools.
In the 1970’s, he relocated the New York, where he lived for most of his life, until moving to Lowell 25 years ago. He worked as a machine operator at Joan Fabrics for many years.
He enjoyed playing the guitar and harmonica and was a talented musician and singer. A devoted family man, he cherished spending time with his loved ones above all else and will be remembered as a loving and dedicated father.
Angel is survived by his daughter, Angela Cruz, and her husband, Manuel of Long Island, NY; four grandchildren, Avery Cruz, Samantha Cruz, Crystal Cruz, Sebastian Cruz; his brothers, Julio Rodriguez of Lowell and Augustin Rodriguez of Lowell; his sisters, Carmen Rodriguez of Lawrence, Miriam Rodriguez of Lowell, Manuela Rodriguez of Lowell, Maria Rodriguez of Lowell, and Juanita Rodriguez of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews
He was the brother of the late Jose Antonio Rodriguez, Victor Manuel Rodriguez, and Gilberto Rodriguez.
On Friday, November 7, 2025 all are welcome to attend his calling hours from 9-10 a.m. at McDonough Funeral Home, 14 Highland Street, Lowell 978-458-6816. His funeral service will take place in the funeral home at 10 a.m. followed by procession to Westlawn I Cemetery for burial.
