Obituary

Ann-Marie Fula (Corleto), 61, of Malden, MA (born and raised in Somerville), passed away peacefully after a brief illness on November 1, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 29, 1964, to the late Lois-Jeanne (Morrissey) and Charles A. Corleto Sr., Ann-Marie lived a full and joyful life centered around family, friendship, and laughter.

Ann-Marie recently retired from the United States Postal Service after a dedicated 30-year career. Known for her strong work ethic and warm smile, she built lasting friendships with her coworkers.

She cherished spending summers at Newfound Lake, where she created countless memories with family and friends. Ann-Marie had a love for going to the casino, bingo nights, catching up with her friends, going to family and friend’s parties, and traveling especially to her favorite destination, Portugal. Above all, she found her greatest joy in being a Wife, Mother, Auntie, Godmother, and especially “Nana,” devoting her heart and time to her beloved grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Ann-Marie will be remembered for her kindness, humor, and love she gave everyone. No matter what her title was she went beyond that title being considered a family member to friends, and a second mother to many family and friends. Her presence brought warmth to every room, and her love will continue to guide those who were fortunate to know her.

Ann-Marie is survived by her beloved husband Charles S. Fula, with whom she shared 31 years of marriage. She was the devoted mother of Mario C. Fula and his wife Jennifer. Ann-Marie was the adored grandmother of Cora Lois Fula and Mario Charles Fula Jr. She was the dear sister of Jo-Ann Greeley and her husband William, Katherine Corleto, John Corleto and his wife Jacqueline, Denis Corleto and his wife Monica and the late Rocco Peter John Corleto, Charles A. Corleto Jr. and his late wife Judi and Denise Corleto-McKenna. Ann-Marie was the loving sister-in-law to Paul M. Fula and daughter-in-law to Maria Arlete Fula and the late Mario Maciel Fula. Lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews, who all have great memories made with her.

A celebration of Ann-Marie’s life will be held at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Wednesday, November 12, from 2-5:30PM. A funeral service will begin in the funeral home at 5:30PM. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Boston Children’s Hospital at https://secure.childrenshospital.org.

Her laughter, love, and stories will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
