
Francis Michael “Mike” Dromgoole, 80, of Londonderry, NH, passed away Sunday November 2, 2025, at Parkland Medical Center, Derry, NH. He is the beloved husband of Louise (Gervais) Dromgoole, with whom he shared 58 wonderful years of marriage.
Mike was born on March 20, 1945, in Geneva, NY, a son of the late Francis and Margaret (Hanratta) Dromgoole. Mike had been a resident of Londonderry for the past 46 years, formerly living in Vernon, CT and Pawtucket, RI. He proudly served his country as an officer in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged as a First Lieutenant. Mike worked for Proctor and Gamble for 30 years, retiring as a Regional Manager. For over 20 years, Mike volunteered for The CareGivers, a local organization that allowed him to help seniors with transportation to medical appointments. He was an active parishioner with St. Mark the Evangelist Parish in Londonderry, where he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. He found great joy in helping others and being part of organizations that supported the community.
In addition to his wife, Louise, he is survived by his two children Kenneth Dromgoole of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Amy Kowal and her husband Brian of Marstons Mills, MA. He was the loving grandfather to his three grandchildren, Madison Dromgoole, Eleanor Kowal and Benjamin Kowal who affectionately referred to him as Grampy. He is also survived by his sister, Joanne Hayes and her husband John Nicolace of Newport, RI; his sisters-in-law Cheryl Dromgoole of Naples, FL and Helene Soucy of West Greenwich, RI; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his two brothers James Dromgoole and Stephen Dromgoole. Mike always looked forward to spending time with his family and friends.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 11:00am at St. Mark the Evangelist Parish, One South Road, Londonderry. Burial arrangements will be announced at a later date.
