Piline Casimir Joseph, age 69 of Boston, Massachusetts passed away peacefully on October 31st 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on April 19 1956, in Thomassique, Haiti Piline was the cherished daughter of the late Termillia Casimir and Ephriam Joseph. From her earliest years, she was known for her boundless compassion, quiet strength and unwavering faith. Qualities that guided her through a life devoted to caring for others.
Although she never married or had children of her own, Piline’s heart overflowed with maternal love. She helped raise her twin sister’s children as if they were her own and to them she was simply and profoundly, Mom. They have always shared proudly that they were blessed with two mothers, and her presence shaped their lives with unconditional love, wisdom and grace.
After immigrating to the United States, Piline built a life dedicated to service and care. She worked for many years in healthcare, where her gentle spirit touched countless lives. She was known for her smile, generosity, and the way she could make everyone feel seen and loved. Her faith was her foundation and her kindness her legacy.
Piline is survived by her cherished children in love, Fernand Arvens Celestin, Lury Celestin, Lut Celestin, her adored grandchildren Luke and Noelle Celestin, her sisters, Piliane Joseph, Marie Maude Joseph, Elvie Joseph, Beanelle Joseph, Renande Joseph, her brothers, Kedner Joseph, Raymond Joseph, Withny Joseph, Renel Joseph, Renaud Joseph and many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends who will continue to carry her memory forward. She was preceded in death by her parents Termilia Casimir and Ephriam Joseph, her sister Jeannette Joseph and brother Francois Joseph.

Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing hours on Sunday November 9, 2025 from 6-8 PM in the Joseph Russo Funeral Home, 814 American Legion Highway, Roslindale, MA. A religious Service will be on Monday November 10, 2025 from 9:30-11:30 AM in Temple Salem 7 Day Adventist Church, 222 Woodrow Ave, Dorchester, MA. 02124. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, 45 Fairview Ave, Hyde Park, MA.
