Jose Eduardo Rosa (65) of Boston died October 31st in the St. Joseph Nursing Center, Dorchester.
He was born in Praia, Santiago, Cabo Verde, the son of Maria Jose de Brito of Brockton and the late Jose Da Rosa. Jose worked as a security guard. He enjoyed going to the various casinos, going out to eat a different restaurants, telling jokes, socializing with family and friends and paying faithful visits with his mother.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his girlfriend of many years Ines Fonseca, his stepdaughter Kassandra DeBurgo, 3 brothers, Jose Rui Rosa of Brockton, Jose A. Rosa of Virginia, and Jose Carlos Rosa of Brockton, 3 sisters, Maria Jose Brito of Portugal, Maria DeGraca Fidalgo of Boston, and Eloisa Centeio of Boston, also several brothers and sisters in Cabo Verde, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton, Saturday November 8th from 3-6 pm. Cremation to follow.
