Obituary

Robert (Bob) Bolduc, 69, of New London, Connecticut, formerly of Worcester, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on November 2nd after a courageous battle with ALS, with his daughter by his side.

Bob was born in Worcester, MA. Son of the late Robert Bolduc and Margaret (O’Brien) Bolduc. He graduated from Algonquin high school and got his bachelors in psychology and art from Framingham State university.

At the age of 18, he proudly joined the United States Navy and later served in the Army Reserves, dedicating many years to his country.

Bob lived a life centered around kindness and connection, always eager to help others and share a smile. His greatest joy was singing karaoke, where he found peace, expression, and a deep sense of community. The friends he made through Karaoke became his chosen family and brought him endless happiness. Of all his accomplishments, Bob often said his proudest moment was the day his daughter Lindsay, his “Bunny”, was born. He was tremendously proud to be her dad, and cherished every moment.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Lindsay Bolduc, of Worcester, MA; son Christopher Dion of Greenville, SC; son James Dion of Simpsonville, SC; his sister Mary Lu Kent, of Uxbridge, MA; his brother Thomas Bolduc and his wife Elizabeth, of Northborough, MA, and Paul Bolduc and his wife Katie, of Windham, NH; and his cousin Cynthia Worthington, of Brookfield, MA. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and countless friends who loved him dearly.

A small service to celebrate Bob’s life will be held on Thursday, November 13th, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Nordgren Funeral Home.

Bob will be remembered for his generous heart, his humor, and the way he brought light and music to every room he entered.
