It is with deep sorrow and much love that our family announce the peaceful passing of Robert G. “Bobby” Paulk on October 31, 2025, at the age of 86.
Bobby will be lovingly remembered by his wife Susan of 53 years; daughter, Sherri Lynn Paulk; son, Robert David Paulk; grandsons: Emory Paulk, Evan Paulk, and Blake Paulk; and great-grandchildren: Abigail Lynn Paulk, Harper Sage Paulk, Caroline Grace Paulk, and Mason Blake Paulk. He was preceded in death by his parents: Emory & Evelyn Megahee Paulk; brothers: Danny Paulk and Jimmy Paulk; and a sister-in-law, Faye Paulk.
Bobby was born on May 19, 1939 and raised in Ocilla, Georgia. He spoke of many fond memories growing up fishing, hunting, camping, and playing football with friends and his brothers. The highlight of his high school years was playing tackle for the Irwin County Indians. After high school graduation, Bobby attended the University of Georgia, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Entomology. He returned to Ocilla and worked with Kaiser Ag Chemicals for 18 years until they closed. He farmed for a period of time with Marchmon Howell and Jule Ed Thomas. He enjoyed working with his cows and in pecan orchards. For over 30 years, Bobby would attend fishing tournaments with his brother Danny and family friend Richard Williamson. He had been a member of Ocilla Methodist Church since birth.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Ocilla Methodist Church in Ocilla, Georgia, with the Rev. Jay Roberson officiating. Interment will follow in Ocilla Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services on Tuesday in the church sanctuary.

Bobby will be remembered for his kindness, his sense of humor, and his integrity.
