Victor Sebastian Elvis Escajadillo, aged 19, of Los Angeles, CA, passed away on October 20, 2025. He was born on June 11, 2006, to parents Meghan Buckley and Victor A. Escajadillo. Sebastian (as he was mainly known) was in his second year at California State University Northridge at the time of his passing, where he was not only a dedicated student but also served as the Vice President of the Cinema Club.
Sebastian graduated from Eagle Rock High School where he began to develop his deep passion for film, a pursuit that he continued with vigor into his college years. His interests were not confined to film alone; he was also profoundly engaged with art and music, enriching his creative expression and understanding.
Described by those who knew him as intelligent, curious, and uniquely himself, Sebastian carried a dry wit that brought laughter to all around him. He was kind-hearted, always looking for the best in others, and cherished his relationships with family and friends deeply.
He is survived by his mother, Meghan Buckley; father, Victor A. Escajadillo; step-father, Matthew Behar; grandmothers, Laurie Rapson and Elizabeth Orrell; grandfather, Victor Z. Escajadillo; aunts, Carolyn Shah, Everell Bush-Wicherski, Lea Orrell, Susanna Buckley; and uncles, Andrew Buckley and Parag Shah. Sebastian was preceded in death by his uncle, Brian Buckley, and grandmother, Caridad Escajadillo.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sebastian’s memory may be made to the Human Rights Campaign, an organization he deeply cared about.
Sebastian’s life, though brief, was marked by an indomitable spirit and a profound capacity to love and inspire. He will be sorely missed and forever remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

From 5 – 8 pm at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, MA and again on Friday morning at 11:30 to join with the family for a memorial service to honor Sebastian’s life.
