Marie L. (Lareau) Vezina, age 85, passed away on October 24, 2025 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born on January 24, 1940 in Worcester, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Brooks) Lareau. Marie was a former communicant of Mary Mother of Hope Parish. She worked as the former co-owner of the Hearth and Pine Restaurant in Ossipee, New Hampshire for 21 years, as a nurse at St Vincent's Hospital in Worcester, Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis and the VNA in New Hampshire for 26 years before she retired. She is predeceased by her husband Roger L. Vezina who passed away in 2017, her daughter Amy Vezina who passed in 2014 and her brother Ronald Lareau who passed in 2011. She is survived by two sons Marc Vezina of San Francisco, CA and Craig Vezina and his wife Iva of Paris, France; two sisters, Sr Carol Lareau SSJ of Chicopee and Theresa Goodrich of Webster; 10 grandchildren, Alexis, Sydney, Vita, Tia, Mila, Lana, Cassidy, Seneca, Mabel and Juliette along with many other extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly. A Prayer service will be held at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam on Friday, November 7, 2025.
