Lorraine F. (Wales) Kneeland, 88, of Adamsville, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Newport Hospital. She was the wife of the late John F. Kneeland, they shared 59 years of marriage.
Mrs. Kneeland was born in Fryeburg, ME daughter of the late Cory and Evelyn (Emery) Wales and had resided in Adamsville for most of her life. She was an avid animal lover and bird watcher. She enjoyed being in her home watching the wildlife.
Survivors include her daughters: Jackie Ferreira and husband Jay of Warren, Marcia Tyndall and husband Mark of North Carolina and Carla DeCosta and husband Brian of Tiverton; her son: Mark Kneeland and his family; and grandchildren: Jesse, Joshua, Kyle and Jenna.
She was the sister of the late Elsie Griffin, Louise Morse, Virginia Griffin and Rodney Wales.
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Monday, November 3, 2025 at the Potter Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M.
Visitation will be Monday from 10-11 A.M. prior to the service.
Interment will be in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
