Obituary

Terrance Lanar Hatton
October 25, 1970 – October 14, 2025

Terrance Lanar Hatton, 54, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Tufts Medical Center, following a sudden health complication.

Born on October 25, 1970, he was the son of the late Robert Hatton and the late Dorothy Miller. Terrance grew up in Daytona Beach, Florida, where he was educated and developed his lifelong love of sports. He went on to attend Auburn University, where he proudly played as a cornerback for the football team.

A true athlete at heart, Terrance loved college football, all kinds of sports, and keeping himself fit. He also loved spending time at the beach and cherished every moment with his family and children. For the past 14 years, he worked as a dispatcher with the Technical Operations team at Astound Broadband, where he was respected and appreciated by his coworkers.

Terrance leaves behind his beloved children, Kateri Hatton of Van Nuys, California, and Marcus Hatton of Tyngsboro, Massachusetts; his siblings, Charles Williams Jr. of Daytona Beach, Florida, and Camillia Hatton of Portland, Oregon; and many dear family members and friends.

He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Hatton, and his grandmother, Ernestine Victoria England.

Terrance will be remembered for his energy, warmth, and love for life — a man whose presence brought laughter and strength to all who knew him.
