John Robert Anufrom, 61, of Medway, Massachusetts passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 4th, 2025.
John was born on August 9th, 1964 in Hyde Park, MA - the first born son of the late Beverly (Shruhan) Smith. John was raised in Hyde Park before moving to Wellesley, MA, where he graduated High School in 1982.
As a young man, John found a keen interest in automotives. Early in his career, he excelled as a car paint technician before moving into car paint sales roles, where he continued to succeed for the past 25 years. Throughout this career, he developed long lasting professional relationships and became a friend to many.
Outside of work, John enjoyed the comforts of his home, where he resided with his family for the past 34 years, and was an avid fan of the Boston Bruins.
To his friends and those who survive him, John will be remembered as a man with a strong sense of humor, wit, and resourceful to those who asked him for a helping hand.
John is survived by his wife Suzanne, their daughter Taylor Griffin and her husband Kevin, their son Joseph Anufrom, his brother Michael Anufrom and his wife Lori, and his step-father Robert Smith.
Following his passing, the family has held a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in his name to the Boston Bruins Foundation.
