Hava Zenelaj passed away on October 27, 2025 at 83 years old. She was born on August 4, 1942 in Kurtes, Çameria to Braho and Mejreme Latifi. Hava was a beloved mother and grandmother remembered for her strong character, her warm words and dedication to her family. She was a culinary teacher and chef. In 1960 she married the love of her life Mehmet Zenelaj, and together they shared 51 wonderful years.
Hava throughout her life always remembered and honored her birth place in Çameria. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Ismail and Mimoza as well as her grandchildren Saimir, Ilda and Arta and preceded in death by her beloved partner and parents. Hava’s warmth and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours at the Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester Street, South Boston Wednesday, October 29 from 5:00-7:00p.m. Followed by a final visitation on Thursday from 10:00-12:00p.m. Interment to follow at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree
