Ryan Gerald McGrath was a friend to all who met him.
Born August 5, 1977, he passed away on October 23, 2025, after a brief illness. A resident of Swansea, Ryan previously resided in Taunton and spent his childhood in Randolph where he was active in sports throughout high school.
Ryan earned his bachelor’s degree from Westfield State University (then College) and his master’s degree from Suffolk University. He spent his career as a social worker where he touched so many lives with his seemingly endless compassion and love.
Throughout his journey to different schools and employers, Ryan met many lifelong friends along the way. He loved being at the ocean and a good beach day, attending concerts, playing golf, and supporting the New England Patriots in person as a season ticket holder for many years. But above all, Ryan cared most for his family: son Cameron McGrath, partner Nicole Macedo and her daughter Alexis Bonanno. Ryan is also survived by his mother Diane Jackson and stepfather Bill Jackson.
