Waterboro, ME- Wayne Scott “Pete” Wedgewood, Age 69, died October 25th, 2025, in Scarborough, ME after a long battle with cancer.
Pete was born June 27th, 1956, in Sanford, ME to Charles Wedgewood and Lorraine Wedgewood (Norton) of Limerick.
He attended Massabesic High School in Waterboro, ME and graduated in 1975.
Pete was a wholesale auto dealer and all-around entrepreneur. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycles, boats, fast cars, and spending time with his children.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father. He is survived by: his Brother Larry Wedgewood and his wife Brenda of Limerick, ME; his Sister Noli Lyle and her husband Robert of Limerick, ME; his Sons Matthew Wedgewood of Magna, UT and Daniel Wedgewood and his Wife Breanna of Stafford, VA; his Daughters Ashley Wedgewood of Alfred, ME; his Daughter Emily Wedgewood of Waterboro, ME; and his 5 Grandchildren Hayden, Bradley, Izzabella, Ivy, and Vander
Visitation will be held at Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel located at 498 Long Plains Road (Rt. 22) Buxton 2PM to 4PM on Sunday, November 2nd, 2025.
