Ronald C. Yates, 67, of Anderson, passed away Friday, October 24, 2025 at Community Hospital in Anderson following an extended illness.
He was born on October 7, 1958 in Anderson, the son of Clifford and Carolyn (Riggins) Yates. He was a 1976 graduate of Anderson High School and enjoyed watching sports. A couple of his favorite teams were the Chicago Cubs, Purdue Boilermakers and NASCAR. Ronald was loving, tender and kind hearted. He never met a stranger and would go out of his way to help someone in need.
Ronald is survived by his five siblings; Pamela Burns, Cliff (Susie) Yates, Ken (Tonya) Maupin, Kim (Ron) Ackles, and Kevin (Kae) Maupin; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Yates and Keith and Carolyn Maupin, and sister Michelle Poulson.
Visitation will be held from 1-2 PM on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. A graveside service will be held at Saunders Cemetery in Daleville at 3 PM.
