Olsen, Rose E. (Langill) of Dedham, age 102, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
Rose was born in Boston, the daughter of the late Arthur H. Langill and Elsie (Hatfield) Langill. Beloved wife of the late Charles M. Olsen. She is survived by her children: Carol A. Nappellio (Peter) of Duxbury; Charles M. Olsen Jr. (Maureen) of Lakeville; G. Douglas Olsen (Linda) of Dedham; William A. Olsen (Linda) of Dedham and David S. Olsen of Dedham. She is also survived by her 18 Grandchildren and 29 Great Grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held in the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St. Dedham on Monday, October 27, at 11:30am. Interment in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations in Rose’s memory may be made to Dana Farber, or the charity of your choice.
