It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ruth “Ruthie” Bernadette
Samuel, who departed this life in Boston, Massachusetts, on October 14th, 2025, at the age of 65.
Ruthie, as she was affectionately known, was a woman whose kindness, faith, and quiet
strength touched everyone who knew her. She lived her life guided by her love for God, her love for her family, and her love for people.
Ruthie will be lovingly remembered by her devoted son, Ryan Samuel, and cherished
daughter-in-law, Mieve Samuel. She was the proud grandmother of Joshua, Miracle, Malachi, and Leilani Samuel, who brought great joy to her life.

Ruthie was also a dear sister-in-law to June and Tomoko Samuel, Christopher
Blackette, Sheryl, Jackie, and Mayra Alexander, Everod Samuel in the United States, and Theresa Samuel of Grenada.
She will be fondly remembered by her aunts and uncles, including Anthon Telesford,
Anthony Telesford, and Catherine David of Grenada; Albert Bain of Canada; and Douglas Samuel of the United States.
Ruthie was a loving aunt to numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and
grandnephews in both Grenada and the United States—too many to mention, but all held close to her heart.
She also leaves behind many other dear relatives and friends; including Sylvia Samuel;
Leoni Samuel; Brittney Dymond and Jennifer Henry; Velda Gibbons, Donna, Shania,
