
Camille Anita (Hall) Weiss, 84, of Ventura, California, passed away on October 21, 2025. Camille was born on September 3, 1941, in Long Island, New York, to Mary Ellen and Glen Hall. She spent her early childhood in Ford City, Pennsylvania, before moving to California, where she attended Transfiguration Elementary School, St. Mary’s Academy, and San Gabriel High School.
Camille earned her associate degree from Pasadena City College and, after raising her family, returned to school later in life to complete her bachelor’s degree in 1996. She went on to enjoy a fulfilling second career as an elementary school teacher at Pierpont and Lincoln Elementary Schools in Ventura, retiring in 2012.
She was a proud Catholic, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and she loved traveling the world with her husband by her side. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, John Weiss, her children Thomas Weiss and Janet Marcoux (James), and four grandchildren: John Marcoux (Mallery), Paul Marcoux (Natasha), Destiny Weiss, and Trace Weiss. She was preceded in death by her son, Scott Weiss, and her siblings Karen Hall and Joseph Denton.
Family and friends are invited to visiting hours to be held on Monday evening October 27, 2025 from 6 to 8pm in the BOYKO & REARDON TELEGRAPH ROAD MORTUARY & CREMATION, 15 Teloma Drive, Ventura, where a Most Holy Rosary will be recited at 7pm. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am Tuesday morning October 28, 2025 in Our Lady of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, 3175 Telegraph Road Ventura.
