Leon J. Hurd, 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Leon was a devoted Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and Friend whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew him.
Born in Norwood, August 15,1949, and raised in East Walpole, Massachusetts, Leon was the beloved son of the late Donald A. Hurd Sr. and Sarah (Allen ) Hurd.
Leon was the proud father of Patrick Hurd and the loving grandfather to Charleigh Hurd and Gavin Hurd & Great Grandfather to Myles Stover who brought immense joy and pride into his life. He was a loving Brother of Donald A Hurd Jr, Carol A MacKinnon, Dennis M Hurd & Richard V Hurd. He cherished every moment spent with his family, whether gathered for holidays, sharing stories, or simply enjoying time together.
Those who knew Leon will remember his good humor, loyalty & unwavering love for his family. He lives on through the memories and lessons he leaves behind.
