LACONIA ---- Thomas ‘Tom’ Michael McGrath, 76, beloved partner, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA on Monday, October 20, 2025.
A dedicated veterinarian and owner of McGrath Animal Hospital in Billerica, Massachusetts, Tom cared for countless animals and families over his more than 30 years of service.
He made his home in Laconia, New Hampshire, on beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee, where he enjoyed boating, golfing and spending time with his family—the things he loved most.
Tom will be remembered for his kindness, his dedication to family, and his love of the outdoors.
Tom is survived by his partner, Ann Bruce; his daughter Keri and her husband Joe, and their daughters Ella and Reese; his son Brian and his wife Lesley, and their children Ava, Jaxon, Andrew Joseph and Alana; his sons Daniel, Michael and his daughter Nora, and Kevin.
Calling Hours will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 4:30pm-6:30pm, in the Carriage House at Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, New Hampshire.
