Obituary

Mary Jane (Farley) Campbell, passed away peacefully on October 20th, 2025, surrounded by family and friends at Prescott House Nursing Facility in North Andover, MA.

She was the beloved wife of Bruce F. “Soupe” Campbell (1939-2005), of which they shared 45 years of marriage.

She was born in Lowell, Ma. on August 17, 1939. She was the daughter of the late James Farley and the late Emma Farley.

Mary Jane was raised in Tewksbury, Ma and has resided in Tewksbury all her life. (86 Years).

She showed herself with strength and courage everywhere she went as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and family, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Mary Jane was a communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine Church in Andover Ma. where she devoted her life to Jesus.

Mary Jane’s family has always been her biggest support. This includes children, grandchildren, brothers, nieces and nephews. She has five children: two sons, Bruce E. Campbell (1962-2009) and his wife Lisa, of Dracut, and Brian Campbell: three daughters, Maureen Dunlevy and her husband John, of Georgetown, Heather Ward and her husband Kevin, of Tewksbury, and Kathleen Pontes and partner Darwin Lehigh, of Stoneham. She is survived by two brothers, James Farley and his wife Barbara, of Tewksbury and Jack Farley and his wife Charlene, of Salisbury: thirteen grandchildren, Ashley (1989-2020), Geoffrey, Daniel, Kimberly, and Brianna Campbell, Kyle, Emma, and Jacob Dunlevy, Sarah and Lindsey Ward, Emily, Bradley, and Tyler Pontes, along with three great grandchildren, Madison, Haven and Ashton.
She leaves many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Calling hours are Thursday, October 23, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee Street, Tewksbury. Her funeral procession will begin on Friday, October 24, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 198 Haggetts Pond Road, Andover. Services will conclude with interment at St. Mary Cemetery, 90 River Road, Tewksbury.
