Obituary

NORTH GROSVENORDALE, CT – Raymond H. Haller, 88, died Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at home after an illness.

He leaves his companion of 43 years, Jacqueline D. (Pizzotti) Harvey; 4 children, Lisa Cotto, and Beth Smith and her husband Hash, all of Rochester, NY, Dianne Snyder of Columbia, TN, and Raymond Champagne of Webster, MA; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Leonard Haller and his wife Sharon of Rochester, NY; nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his two sisters Dorothy and Lorraine.

He was born on February 4, 1937 in Rochester, NY, the youngest of the four children of Harold and Jennie (Konopa) Haller and lived there for the first part of his life. He then resided in Webster, Altavista, VA and North Grosvenordale.

He served in the United States Navy from 1955 to 1959.

Mr. Haller was a plumber at Norton Company in Worcester for many years before retiring in 2006.

He was a member of Saint Louis Church in Webster.

A graveside service will be held at noon on Wednesday, November 5, in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace, Old Worcester Road, Webster. The Webster-Dudley Veterans Council will perform military honors. Arrangements are under the direction of Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, Webster.
