Sharon D. (Hall) Hill, 66, beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend, of Abington, Massachusetts, passed away suddenly on October 17th at her home.
Born in Braintree in 1959, she was the third daughter of (Allen) Leo Hall and Jacqueline (Vigeant) Hall. A proud graduate of Rockland High School, Class of 1977, Sharon was our very own “Dairy Queen,” having co-operated the Abington and Brockton locations for over 35 years.
Sharon put her heart and soul into everything she touched — including, but by no means limited to, her dedication to the First Baptist Church of Abington, Abington Child Study Group, Rotary Club, Abington Education Foundation, Boosters, Galway Rovers and the many other charities, youth sports, arts, and education programs she gladly gave her time to throughout the South Shore.
Sharon shined helping others better themselves. Her fierce love was felt by many and returned by all.
Sharon leaves behind her loving husband of 40 years, Jeffrey Hill, and their two sons, Alexander and Zachary, of Abington.
Family and friends whose lives were touched by Sharon are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, October 24th, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Blanchard’s Funeral Chapel, 666 Plymouth Street, Whitman.
