Obituary

October 6, 1992 - October 6, 2025
With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Kara Ann Blevins, who left this world far too soon on her 33rd birthday, doing what she loved most-riding her motorcycle, free and fearless.
Born in Stockton, CA in 1992, Kara was a rebel at heart with a spirit as wild as the open road. She proudly served her country as a U.S. Navy Seabee for six years, followed by two years in the Navy Reserve. She also found community within the Port Hueneme VFW Post 3935 for the last 2 years.
She was a free soul who found joy in simple but powerful things-her guitar, the ocean, a good ride, and the company of friends and family. Kara had a gift for making everyone feel like family, leaving a lasting mark on every person who crossed her path. She was a proud Star Wars nerd, was always dancing to a good tune, had the most contagious laugh, and always wanted to lend a helping hand.
She is survived by her loving family-her parents Sherry and Christopher Sr., her siblings Christopher Jr. and Stephanie, sister-in-law Lea, son Kason, grandparents Carolyn and Kenneth Duclair, her ride or die Jason Balcena, and all beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins. Kara's memory will forever live on in their hearts and in the countless lives she touched.
Seabee, you now stand relieved. We have the watch.
