Stephen Brant Wall, Jr., 62, passed away on October 16, 2025, in Ventura, California.
Steve was born in Santa Barbara, California, to Steve and Laurel Wall on December 13, 1962.
Steve attended San Marcos and Santa Barbara High Schools and graduated in 1981.
Steve spent 40+ years in aerospace and prototype manufacturing and took pride in creating and designing projects for various industries.
Steve was a gifted wood turner, carver, beer maker and overall craftsman. He never backed away from home remodeling projects.. no matter how long they took to complete! Steve was an avid reader and instilled that same love of books to his children. He used what he grew in his home garden in his own recipes that he prepared for his most prized possession - his family.
Steve, aka Bear, enjoyed many outdoor activities, including riding his Harley and participating in charity runs. He also enjoyed bicycling, hiking and kayaking.
Steve and his wife, Norma, spent many miles together traveling to different countries and cross-country road trips and camping with the family when his children were younger.
We all enjoyed Steve's mischievous sense of humor that raised the spirits of folks exactly when they needed it.
Steve is survived by his wife of 40 years, Norma, his son, Stephen (III) and daughter, Jessica. He is also survived by his father, Stephen, Sr. step-mother, Andrea, sisters Melissa (Ray), Donna (Tim), Katherine (Harris) and Annette (Nacho) as well as brothers David, Chad (Angie) and Daniel and many nieces and nephews who he loved very much. Steve is preceded in death by his mother, Laurel.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to their extended family, friends and neighbors who have helped bear this sorrow with them.
Bear would want you to know, YOU ARE LOVED!
