LIMINGTON- Debbie M. Rios, 74, of Limington, Maine passed away on October 18th, 2025, surrounded by loving family. Debbie was born on January 17th in Hammond, Indiana, the daughter of Joseph and Delores Kon. Debbie graduated from High School, then went on to Indian University Northwest, earning a Bachelor’s degree. Debbie married Bob Rios in Texas. They remained married for 26 years, until Bob passed away. Debbie worked for the State of Texas as an employment counselor. She was proud of the work that she did. Debbie especially loved helping others. She spent her spare time crocheting hats for cancer survivors who had lost their hair. She was a faithful member of Oak Cliff Presbyterian Church. She also helped the church with teaching ESL for many years. She supported St. Jude’s as well. Debbie’s favorite color was red, as often seen on her nails that she loved having done. She loved dogs. Remaining to cherish Debbie’s memory are her sister Donna Jo Kon of Limington, Marsha Gallant (daughter) and her husband Kevin Gallant, Robbie Rios (son) and his wife Rosemary Rios of Texas, nieces: Angie and Andrea, Eric (great nephew), and many grandchildren and great children, and one great-great grandchild. Preceding Debbie in death are her husband Bob Rios and her twin sister Dianne Garcia.
