Rita J. Rivard
Manchester-Rita J. Rivard, 85, died August 30, 2006 at the Catholic Medical Center following a period of declining health.
She was born in Manchester on June 10, 1921 the daughter of Fred A. and Rose (Smith) Ouellette and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
Prior to her retirement she had worked for the YMCA.
She was the widow of Albert A. Rivard Sr. who died April 24, 1989.
Members of her family include 2 sons, Alfred L. Rivard and Albert A. Rivard Jr. both of Manchester. Two grandchildren, one great grandchild and two stepgrandchildren, one sister Louise Bourque of Manchester and several nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: A calling hour will be Friday from 8:30 to 9:30 am at the J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A mass of Christian burial will be held Friday at 10 am in St. Raphael Church. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
