Rose M. (Benvenuto) Ciaramitaro, a long-time Medford resident, passed away peacefully in the company of her loving family on Friday afternoon. She was 93.
Born and raised in Boston’s North End, Rose was the daughter of the late Vincent and Anna (Diecidue) Benvenuto. As a young woman Rose worked as a seamstress but once married and settled in Medford, she devoted herself to the care of her husband and three daughters.
The beloved wife of the late Vito Ciaramitaro, who passed away in 2010, Rose was the devoted mother of Rose Ciaramitaro, Ann Fonzo and her husband Bruno and Susan M. Brennan. Rose was a loving grandmother to Stephanie Boynton and her husband Benjamin, Stephen, Melissa and Brianna Goldrick and her husband Jonathan. She was a loving great-grandmother to Ariana Grace and Ellie Rey Boynton. Rose was the dear sister of Anthony Benvenuto and the late Mary Piazza, Alfonso Benvenuto and Leo Benvenuto.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 22nd at 11 AM in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
