Judith A. Ferguson, 83

Judith A. (Rusler) Ferguson, age 83, of Mansfield, passed away in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, October 17, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert C. Ferguson, to whom she was wed for seventeen years at the time of his death on March 15, 1980.
Born in Attleboro, MA on March 30, 1942, she was a loving daughter of the late Herman T. and Shirley L. (Howatt) Rusler.
Judy grew up in Foxborough and Keene, New Hampshire and was a 1959 graduate of North Attleboro High School. She had made her home in Mansfield for over thirty-five years and formerly resided in Foxborough, where she loved her job as a salesperson at Normandy Farms Campground.
Judy loved spending time with her treasured family, especially her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. When younger she enjoyed ice skating and singing and competing in talent contest while a high school student. Her hobbies included camping and crocheting and throughout her life maintained a special love in her heart for dogs.
She was the devoted mother of Scott T. Ferguson of Mansfield, Andrea L. Sheedy of Taunton and the late William C. Ferguson. She was the cherished grandmother of Louis Castaneda of Norton and Alexandra Castaneda of New Bedford. She was the treasured great grandmother of Anastasia, Giovanni and Masiah. She was the much-loved sister of Carol L. Landry of North Attleboro and her late husband Louis Landry, the late Robert Rusler and the late Lee “Chi Chi” Cowland and her late husband Russ Cowland. She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews and her faithful and loving dog “Sassy”.
Services, along with burial at the Spring Brook Cemetery in Mansfield will be private and visiting hours are omitted.
