Linda Grasso, 77, of Brookline and Dover, MA and Wellington, FL passed away peacefully, October 11, 2025 at her home in Wellington surrounded by her daughters and her cherished dog, Heidi. A devoted and loving mother to Tonja Morrison (Paul) of Dover, MA and Ashleigh Stewart (Brad) of Austin, TX. Affectionately known as Gigi by her granddaughters – Avery, Isobel, Hayden and Abigail. A favorite nickname adopted by all that came to know her for the past thirty one years.
She is predeceased by her husband Teodore Tedeschi and her parents Dorothy Willis and Thomas Grasso. Raised in Dover, MA Linda graduated Ursuline Academy in 1966, University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1970, Boston College in 1974 and New England School of Law in 1982.
Linda’s impressive legal career began at the firm of Hale and Dorr LLP, then McCabe Gordon, before she and her late husband founded their own practice, Tedeschi & Grasso P.C.
Linda raised her daughters in Brookline, MA before returning to Dover with Ted in the late 80’s where she rekindled her childhood love of horses. She was a proud member and supporter of the Norfolk Hunt Club.
After a long and accomplished career, Linda and Ted retired to Wellington, Florida, where they shared their love for animals—especially horses—and the vibrant equestrian community. She became an integral part of the community , offering private tutoring services to young riders visiting for the competition season and serving as a founding member of the The Wanderers Club.
Gigi will be remembered for her elegance, strength and unwavering generosity. She touched countless lives with her compassion, and steadfast will. Her legacy will be live on forever in those that knew her – especially her adoring family.
A funeral service will be held in the Christ Episcopal Church, 1132 Highland Ave, Needham on Friday, Oct. 24 at 11am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Linda’s name to Trustbridge Hospice, www.trustbridge.com.
